About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the day-to-day operations at one of their quick-paced vehicle repair facilities in the Ulladulla, Batemans Bay and Nowra region. The role offers exposure to smash and hail repairs, advanced repair techniques and operational leadership. What You'll Be Doing
As Site Manager, you will take ownership of the full repair workflow, ensuring vehicles are repaired safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. You will lead a team of technicians, drive continuous improvement across the site and maintain strong communication with customers and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and support a team of automotive technicians and tradespeople
- Assign jobs and manage repair schedules to meet deadlines
- Maintain accurate job data in the iBody management system
- Monitor repair processes, identify inefficiencies and implement solutions
Operations & Compliance
- Oversee the daily operation of the workshop
- Coordinate sublets and parts procurement to maintain smooth workflow
- Assist with vehicle handovers and adding additional via iBody when required
- Ensure WHS compliance and maintain a safe working environment
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager to optimise site efficiency
Customer Experience
- Act as a key point of contact for customers and work providers
- Provide clear, accurate repair updates and timeframes
- Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally
Quality Control
- Conduct inspections to ensure repairs meet company and industry standards
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain high customer satisfaction
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in automotive smash repairs (smash or hail)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Highly organised, proactive and excellent at time management
- Clear communicator with both customers and technicians
- Trade qualifications or hands-on repair experience in automotive smash repairs
- Prior experience in a similar production/site management role
- Familiarity with iBody or similar estimating software or repair tracking systems
