**The Company**
Our client is an up and coming Australian Food company that has expanded into 5000 stores across Australia in just three years. With a vision to dominate their niche category globally, and having already began to infiltrate international markets, they now seek a savvy Demand Planner to join their fun & dynamic team, and bring process and rigour to their global operation.
**The Role**
- Develop and maintain demand forecasts for assigned product categories, leveraging historical data, market trends, and input from sales and marketing teams.
- Monitor and analyze demand patterns, identifying deviations and adjusting forecasts as needed to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to gather relevant market intelligence, promotional plans, and product launch schedules to incorporate into demand forecasts.
- Work closely with Supply Planning and Production teams to ensure alignment between demand forecasts and production schedules, optimizing inventory levels while meeting customer service levels.
**Skills & Experience**
- Proven experience in demand planning, inventory management, or related roles within the FMCG or consumer goods industry.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in statistical forecasting techniques and demand planning software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JDA).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with FMCG market dynamics, consumer behavior, and retail channels is preferred.
