The Role
This family business is operated by 2 generations of hands-on owners who are looking to expand their team. The property encompasses 11000 hectares in all, with 7000 ha under crop, including Canola, Wheat and Oaten Hay.
We are seeking a skilled cropping farm hand to join an established team and be involved in all aspects of the broadacre cropping cycle including cultivation, sowing, spraying, fertilising, and harvesting. Attitude is the biggest characteristic that our employer is seeking, they are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, loyal and has a passion for agriculture. Operating late model equipment, predominantly Case IH and John Deere, fitted with modern technology, a mechanical aptitude and previous cropping experience is essential. Our clients pride themselves on maintaining gear to a high standard.
The successful applicant will be able to complete repairs and maintenance on a variety of farm machinery. The ability to work unsupervised will be highly advantageous as they will have the opportunity to guide and train others along with leading a small team.
The Offer
In addition to an above award and generous salary, there is a 3 bedroom house located on the main farm available to the successful applicant. A work vehicle will be provided, as well as an electricity allowance. There is Telstra service at the homestead and across most of the property.
Only 20 minutes to Moora, enjoy all the creature comforts of town with roadside school bus stop, mail delivery and rubbish pickup. Moora itself has plenty of necessary facilities and social opportunities with a variety of local sporting teams, a swimming pool and a gym. All within an easy drive of the coast or Perth.

Have recent experience in a similar role
Mechanical aptitude and ability
Robust communication skills
Respectful of equipment and infrastructure
Be reliable and able to work autonomously as there is opportunity to take more responsibility within this role.
A MC License and a Chem Cert or willing to obtain would be advantageous.
