Collaborate with senior management to design and implement LEAN process strategies and analyze the effectiveness of all strategies to ensure continuous improvement.Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will play a major role in the identification and justification of capital investments ensuring the financial stability and growth of the company.Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & Strategy: Oversee plant operations, supervise Production Managers and Team Leaders, and implement strategies to optimize production efficiency, output, and KPI achievement.Project & Financial Management: Lead capital and improvement projects, manage plant budgets, monitor costs, and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and control expenses.Continuous Improvement: Lead root cause analysis, track performance through metrics and Visual Management Boards, and contribute to operational strategy development and problem-solving initiatives.GMP & Quality Assurance: Ensure GMP compliance, collaborate with the Quality team to uphold standards, and address non-conformances and audit actions.Talent Development & Leadership: Foster Lean thinking, support employee development through training and succession planning, and mentor staff to meet performance standards.Safety & Compliance: Champion a safe, clean, and compliant work environment, driving safety initiatives and maintaining high housekeeping standards.What we are looking forProven experience in operations management within a production setting.Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams, including Production Managers and Team Leaders.Expertise in optimising production processes for efficiency, quality, and cost control.In-depth knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality assurance standards.Experience in capital project management, continuous improvement, and operational strategy development.Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control, and resource management.Ability to drive safety initiatives and foster a safe culture in the workplace.Excellent problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments.Commitment to employee development, training, and succession planning.Understanding of compliance with food safety and environmental regulations in a production setting.This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic leader to make a significant impact in an operational role focused on growth, quality, and continuous improvement.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionManagement, Manufacturing, and ProductionIndustries: Food and Beverage Manufacturing
