Due to increasing project commitments we are seeking a competent Design Technician to work closely with our engineering and drafting team to lead the project's design to meet our client's needs, whilst adhering to design codes and communicating effectively with colleagues and management.
This is a full-time, permanent position with an ASX listed company offering great job security.
Main Responsibilities
Create 2D and 3D concepts and full drawings using AutoCAD and Revit
Coordinate with our larger drafting team by preparing the weekly projects deliverables, and supporting the timely delivery of drafting tasks
Review and markup the developed drawings to ensure they meet standards and client needs
Develop and review detailed workshop drawings for fabrication and production purposes for individual parts
About You
To be successful in this role you need to have:
Experience using Revit and AutoCAD (essential)
Diploma of Drafting and/or Engineering or relevant tertiary studies
Good understanding of Australian Drafting and Design Standards
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to establish strong and productive working relationships
