What is HEAL?
HEAL Specialist Urgent Care offers emergency-level expertise in a community setting, delivering the calibre of care expected in hospital EDs but in a more accessible, efficient, and supportive environment. HEAL operates two state-of-the-art clinics in Newcastle and Maitland.
At HEAL you'll find:
FACEM led clinic working with a multi-disciplinary team, which includes FACEMs, GPs and ACCREMs, emergency trained NPs and emergency trained nurses.
No on-call requirement, no night shifts
Sustainable and flexible rostering.
A medical scribe to assist with daily administrative tasks allowing you to focus on consulting and clinical decision making.
High patient turnover and ultimate patient flow with no access block.
Technology and IT systems that make healthcare easy for both patients and doctors.
Qualifications
➜ GP, ACCRM and FACEM roles available
➜ Newly qualified GPs, ACCRM's and FACEM's are encouraged to apply
➜ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make critical decisions under pressure
➜ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
➜ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
➜ Registered medical practitioner with valid certification and licenses
➜ Experience in an emergency or urgent care setting is preferred
