Job Summary
The Victorian Aboriginal Child and Community Agency is seeking a professional to join their team as a Case Manager. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Aboriginal children and families, Government and sector partners to achieve better outcomes for children.
* Culturally Safe Casework: Provide supportive casework and guidance to Aboriginal children and families.
* Collaboration: Work collaboratively with children, families, and partner agencies to achieve common goals.
* Needs Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough assessments and develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each family.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Providing culturally sensitive support to Aboriginal children and families.
* Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and address the needs of Aboriginal children and families.
* Developing and implementing care plans that prioritize the well-being and safety of Aboriginal children and families.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants should possess:
* A strong understanding of cultural safety principles and practices.
* Experience working with Aboriginal children and families, particularly in a case management or social work capacity.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children, families, and community stakeholders.
