Delaware North Australia is hiring a full-time Assistant Payroll Manager to join our team at our Head Office in Docklands. As an Assistant Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate payroll information across payroll and attendance systems, supporting the payroll team in processing weekly and fortnightly pay runs, and ensuring seamless payroll operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain payroll time and attendance systems and process payroll on a regular basis.
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and organizational policies.
Act as the first point of contact for payroll-related inquiries from other departments.
Process invoices timely to meet reporting deadlines.
Produce accurate financial reports including payroll, purchasing, and inventory records.
Qualifications and Experience:
Degree in accounting or finance is preferred.
Experience with payroll across multiple locations and industrial instruments.
Knowledge of legislative requirements related to Payroll, PAYG, FBT, payroll tax, and superannuation.
Understanding of Industrial Relations Legislation, Awards, and Enterprise Agreements.
Ability to extract, analyze, and report data from payroll systems.
Experience with ADP or HumanForce is advantageous.
