Help people turn ideas into thriving small businesses
Are you an experienced business owner, coach, or leader looking for a more meaningful way to use your skills?
At Many Rivers, we partner with people who’ve faced barriers to employment or disadvantage—helping them start, stay, and thrive in their own small businesses.
We’re looking for a Business Coach (Microenterprise Development Manager) to join our team, working directly with clients in your region!
This is a hands-on, purpose-driven role where you’ll walk alongside people in their business journey—helping them grow confidence, capability, and financial independence.

- Travel across the region – visiting clients and providing face-to-face coaching and mentoring support in their local communities.
- Provide practical business tools – assist clients to access small loans, legal support, and training to help them succeed.
- Champion accountability and growth – track client progress and outcomes using our CRM system, ensuring every business journey is supported from idea to success.
All tools of trade are provided, including a vehicle, laptop, and phone. Intraregional travel is a key part of the role.
About You
We’re looking for someone who’s:
- Passionate about helping others succeed and confident working with people from diverse backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

- Self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently.
- Tech-savvy with strong administration and time management skills.
