We have a rare opportunity available for a Senior Design Manager to lead innovative design solutions, drive collaboration across teams, and bring architectural excellence to life from concept to completion. This is an opportunity to deliver high-impact community commercial projects.
About the Role
* Ensure design documentation is compliant and practical to deliver.
* You will need to work autonomously at times and also closely with internal & external stakeholders for quality outcomes.
* Manage the entire design process from tender to practical completion.
* Drive the value management process to provide the best possible outcomes for both our clients and us.
* Liaise with a variety of stakeholders including clients, architects, and various other consultants and authorities.
* Responsible for planning, creating and controlling the delivery of project design - manage the approval process and cost plans in accordance with the program and project requirements.
Requirements
You will be a methodical individual with a creative streak who is adept at investigating project opportunities and efficiencies.
* Tertiary qualification relevant to the role.
* A minimum of 5 years' practical experience in a similar head contractor design management role.
* Greenstar and NABERS project delivery and accreditation will be favourable.
* An accomplished communicator and negotiator.
