Role
The Test Lead role involves overseeing and coordinating various aspects of the testing process. The candidate will be responsible for establishing a comprehensive Testing Strategy using a risk-based testing model, which includes defining the scope, testing approach, tools, and reporting. They will identify necessary skills and capabilities, resolve any gaps, and develop a defect management approach in collaboration with stakeholders. Additionally, the Test Lead will create test plans that outline testing cycles, test case structures, and schedules, ensuring compliance with entry and exit criteria. They will monitor testing progress, report on status, risks, and issues, and maintain ongoing communication with the testing team and Project Manager. The Test Lead will also contribute to test case design, provide onboarding collateral for testers, and support testing efforts using Jira, adhering to the defined Testing Strategy. Overall, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring effective and efficient testing processes and delivering high-quality software solutions.
