Senior Property Officer, Construction and Inspections
We are seeking a dedicated Senior Property Officer to join our team, responsible for coordinating construction, modifications, renovations, and repairs of customer properties. This role involves managing external providers, liaising with planning authorities, and ensuring seamless project execution.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing advice to resolve disputes and handle complex issues with discretion.
* Ensuring coordinated construction and maintenance activities by collaborating with customers, stakeholders, and teams.
* Managing work outputs and competing demands to achieve favorable outcomes.
* Assisting customers and families in understanding building contracts and supervising builders.
* Balancing renovation or repair needs with affordability, considering customer disabilities and expectations.
About You
* Proven expertise in construction project management, building contract administration, and engaging construction contractors.
* Ability to develop positive relationships and manage stakeholder demands.
* Strong understanding of Australian building standards.
* Experience coordinating property construction, modifications, and repairs.
* NSW builder's licence preferred.
Essential Requirements
* Qualifications or experience in building, complex construction, or project management.
* Capacity to manage external service providers for property renovations and repairs.
* Understanding of NSW government services and customer needs.
