This role involves translating needs and performance requirements into behaviorally-based learning products. The goal is to design and develop content and materials that will enable learners, trainers, and other stakeholders to achieve those outcomes for online, face-to-face, and micro-credential courses.
The specialist will partner with different stakeholders to scope needs, training, and language differences for target operating units and audiences.
Responsibilities include conducting training discovery sessions with stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts, necessary front-end analysis to clearly define program and training outcomes, solutions, and success measures.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Learning Technologies, or any related field. They should also have 3+ years of experience in instructional design or learning content development preferably in a corporate environment.
A strong understanding of adult learning principles, ADDIE, and modern instructional design methodologies is essential. Experience using e-learning authoring tools and proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and multimedia design tools are also required.
The ideal candidate should have excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills. They should also be detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
