We are seeking a passionate Dance/Movement Specialist to join our Disability Dance & Movement Program, supporting children and young people through creative movement, connection, and care.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in dance as therapy and the power of movement to support physical, emotional, and social development. You may be qualified, experienced, or currently studying in a complementary field such as Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Support Work, Medical, Paediatrics, Allied Health, or similar.
About the Role
Working alongside our experienced dance teachers, you will:
* Support the delivery of inclusive dance and movement classes
* Assist with therapy-based support, behaviour management, and individual needs
* Provide encouragement, regulation strategies, and positive engagement for participants
* Collaborate with a small, supportive team including 3 employed staff and volunteer peer support workers
About You
* Genuine interest in dance, movement, and disability support
* Experience or study in a relevant health, education, or support field (preferred but not essential)
* Calm, empathetic, and confident working with diverse needs
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Available to work Mondays during school terms

Pay: $35.00 – $50.00 per hour
