As a Senior Java Engineer, you will take ownership of activities including architecture, design, development, testing, and operations.
You will analyse and understand complex technology challenges to deliver robust software solutions.
Your contributions will drive key initiatives forward, focusing on large-scale distributed applications, developing new features, managing migrations, and providing ongoing support.What You Offer6+ years coding in Core Java4+ years with Spring and Spring BootA deep understanding of modern Java features, functional programming, OOP, data structures, and algorithms.Experience with best practices such as TDD (Test-Driven Development), Pair Programming and moreStrong understanding of microservices architectureSkilled in reviewing, refactoring, and improving code designExperience with databases and Linux/Shell scriptingWorked with SDLC tools (e.g., Jenkins, JIRA, Git)Developed and used RESTful APIsExperience with AWS and tools like Docker/KubernetesExposure to front-end tech like Angular or ReactExperience with messaging systems.We love hearing from anyone inspired to build a better future with us, if you're excited about the role or working at Macquarie we encourage you to apply.About TechnologyTechnology enables every aspect of Macquarie, for our people, our customers and our communities.
