**The opportunity**:
We need someone to help us close the gap on what we can do, and what we should be able to do by fostering strong collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders from Data Technology, HI Business Intelligence and Data Science, and external technology partners to ensure the strategic alignment of all initiatives with our overarching business objectives.
You'll be architecting and steering the strategic integration and technological innovation efforts in line with Bupa's forward-looking growth initiatives for the Customer Channels and Growth (CCG) department. You'll take the lead in driving data provisioning by developing and implementing advanced data and analytics architectures, ensuring seamless integration across various platforms and systems to enhance our capability in delivering exceptional customer experiences and fostering significant business growth.
This role plays a critical part in translating complex business needs into reliable solutions, highlighting the capabilities of the Channel Analytics team. By leveraging deep expertise in data curation and problem solving, you'll facilitate the harnessing of data-driven insights, enhancing decision-making processes across the CCG landscape.
**To be successful in this role, you'll need to have**:
- Relevant qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field, complemented by relevant industry certifications.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience with problem solving, data integration, and analytics within a complex business environment, preferably within the healthcare or insurance sectors.
- A proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale integration projects, with a strong emphasis on solutions that support business growth and customer engagement strategies.
- A deep understanding of data architecture, cloud computing, API management, and analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI, SAS, Oracle, Databricks, Azure data services).
- Expertise in stakeholder engagement, with excellent communication and influencing skills to manage expectations and foster collaborative relationships.
We're looking for someone to join us full-time on a permanent basis.
You can work from either Queensland or Victoria, with offices conveniently located in the Brisbane and Melbourne CBDs. Plus, you have the flexibility to work from home or from one of our office spaces.

- Problem solving and executing the strategic integration of technological solutions within the Customer Channels and Growth (CCG) department.
- Designing and implementing comprehensive data architectures and analytics platforms to facilitate advanced data-driven capabilities, enhancing customer engagement and business growth.
- Providing visionary leadership in the development of scalable and robust solutions, solving complex business challenges through innovative tactical solutions as well as technology integrations.
- Liaising effectively between internal stakeholders to prioritise data capability across CCG.
- Championing the adoption of best practices in data governance, security, and compliance across all data provisioning initiatives, ensuring alignment with global standards and regulations
- Supporting the Head of Channel Analytics with data storytelling to drive business narrative and guide decision making.
