The Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director to join our team. This is a rewarding opportunity for a motivated leader to oversee the daily operations, ensure the highest standard of care and education, and continue fostering a supportive environment for staff, families and the Katherine Community. The role will commence prior to ensure a smooth transition and handover.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the day-to-day operations of the childcare centre, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements (e.g., ACECQA, Education and Care National Regulations)
* Lead, motivate, and manage a team of childcare professionals to deliver high-quality education and care in line with the Early Years Learning Framework.
* Build strong relationships with families and community stakeholders to promote the Centre's values and programs.
* Manage budgets, staffing, and resources efficiently.
* Maintain a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children, staff, and visitors.
* Continuously evaluate and improve service quality through reflective practice and professional development.
* Collaboration and clear communication with the Board of management
About You
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated professional with the following qualifications and skills:
* Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent)
* Proven leadership experience in an Early Years setting
* Strong knowledge of Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Frameworks and safeguarding requirements.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
* Ability to inspire and lead a team while maintaining a child-centered approach.
* A proactive approach to professional development and quality improvement.
