Key Job Responsibilities
The AWS Infrastructure Capacity Delivery team seeks a Technical Programme Manager (TPM) to support projects that grow our Data Centre infrastructure. The TPM will lead cross‑functional and technical teams to deliver new Data Centres from strategy through design, budget, implementation, testing and deployment, managing the dependencies needed for delivery.
The TPM will manage remote project delivery teams, facilitate technical sessions, troubleshoot issues and remove barriers. The role requires building matrix teams, establishing stakeholder trust across time zones, managing capital budgets, eliminating unnecessary activities, designing solutions and creative acceleration of project delivery.
Qualified candidates will have experience with project management tools, methodologies and techniques across project lifecycle, covering scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality and risk management. Additional tools experience includes MS Office, MS Project and MS SharePoint.
Basic Qualifications
* 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience
* Experience dealing with ambiguity, prioritizing needs, and delivering measurable results in an agile environment
* Ability to review technical and ambiguous problems, provide clear options and lead teams to decide and deliver
* Experience managing complex technology infrastructure projects
Preferred Qualifications
* Deep dive and define infrastructure requirements
* Familiarity with the AWS product suite
* Experience managing projects in the APAC region
* Data centre construction experience
* Knowledge of the Australian Data Centre market
