Overview
The opportunity BGB TILING PTY LTD is seeking an experienced and skilled Tiler and Waterproofer to join our team in Newcastle, NSW. As a Tiler and Waterproofer, you will be responsible for the installation of tiles and the application of waterproofing solutions to ensure the integrity and longevity of our clients' projects.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and lay tiles to the highest standard, ensuring accurate measurements and attention to detail
* Expertly apply waterproofing membranes and coatings to protect against water damage
* Read and interpret construction plans and drawings to ensure work is carried out to specification
* Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to coordinate workflow and ensure timely completion of projects
* Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations
* Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on the selection and installation of tiles and waterproofing solutions
What We're Looking For
* Minimum 3 years' experience as a qualified Tiler and Waterproofer, with a proven track record of high-quality work
* Strong understanding of construction techniques, materials, and industry standards
* Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong time management and organisational skills
* Certified in the application of various waterproofing systems and solutions
* Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients, project managers, and other tradespeople
* Permanent residents and Australian citizens preferred.
