The role includes overseeing case management activities, providing parenting and trauma information, and supporting children to strengthen links to community and culture.The Early Intervention Services (EIS) programs work alongside parents and family carers to improve safety and connectedness with local community services.This EIS Case Manager position in Pilbara is a permanent full-time role based in South Hedland, WA, within our Intensive Family Support Services/Family Care Support Services Program. The position reports to the Coordinator Pilbara Services.Key Selection Criteria:To succeed in this role, you will have:Knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture and values, and awareness of issues faced by Aboriginal children, young people, and families.An appropriate qualification in human services and/or equivalent experience and skills. A combination of study and experience, including lived and professional experience as an Aboriginal person, will be considered.An understanding of attachment, trauma theories, child development, child-centred approaches, and resilience.Demonstrated commitment to collaborative work and capacity to liaise with community services, agencies, and the community.An understanding of child protection and out-of-home care systems.For a full position listing, please click APPLY.
