Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced sales merchandiser to join our team at a local store.
* Provide expert advice and guidance on agricultural products to customers.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers through regular communication and face-to-face meetings.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve sales targets and KPIs.
* Manage inventory, including ordering, receipting, stocktaking, and dispatch.
* Process sales and generate quotes in a timely and accurate manner.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Excellent customer service and sales skills with experience working in a rural retail environment.
* Strong understanding of the agricultural industry and its products.
* Technical skills in Agricultural Science, Animal Health, or Agronomy are advantageous.
* Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
* Computer literacy skills, including Microsoft Office, POS software, and administration skills.
* Physical fitness to perform manual handling tasks.
* Strong focus on Work Health & Safety practices.
* Driver's license essential; Forklift license preferred; HV license highly beneficial.
