We are partnering with a Local Council based in Logan to engage a Customer Service Representative. Your new role
- Join a dynamic contact centre team as a Customer Service Representative
- Deliver exceptional service to both internal and external customers
- Act as a key liaison between the public, stakeholders, and the Council department
- Provide feedback and suggest process improvements to enhance customer experience
- Help maintain accurate and up-to-date knowledge bases, procedures, and database content
- Collaborate with Customer Experience Officers and the Corporate Customer Experience Coordinator
- Embrace challenges and opportunities with enthusiasm and adaptability
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum of two consecutive years in a call centre role
- Previous experience in a government-based call centre — highly valued
- Proven customer service skills in a contact centre environment
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage and deescalate challenging situations
- Capable of making sound decisions under pressure
- Effective research skills and quick learning of Council operations
- Proficient in computer software — data entry, spreadsheets, and internal systems
Self-motivated team player with a continuous improvement mindset
