Job Description
The Facilities Manager is a pivotal role within our organization, overseeing the management of work accommodation leases, residential lease administration, and utility budgets. The primary focus is on negotiating and managing work accommodation leases to ensure sustainable, economically prudent, and fit-for-purpose facilities that support operational outcomes.
This includes:
* Negotiating and managing interagency and Govhub work accommodation leases, as well as central utility budgets.
* Overseeing the management of state-wide work accommodation lease portfolios in regional and metropolitan locations.
* Monitoring and managing compliance with relevant legislation, such as the Residential Tenancies Act 2017.
Key skills for this role include excellent communication and interpersonal skills, for building and maintaining relationships at all levels.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Previous experience negotiating leases and managing work accommodation lease portfolios.
* Demonstrated experience monitoring and managing compliance with relevant legislation.
* Working knowledge of relevant guidelines and policies, such as the Victorian Government Work Accommodation Guidelines.
