My client is one of Melbourne's most popular Aged Care providers, offering very unique lifestyle's to the elderly community. With a new investment strategy at hand, they are seeking Registered Nurses to become a part of the team and have a voice in their future.
We have permanent full time and part time positions available in Melbourne's South-East suburbs.
**The role**
Working as a Personal Care Worker, you will provide high quality holistic care to the residents as a team and independently. You will carry out your duties in accordance to the Aged Care Standards and the organisations policies & procedures. This will involve consulting with your colleagues to provide assistance with resident hygiene, daily living & lifestyle activities.
**Your duties will include**:
- Assist residents with their personal care & hygiene needs whilst encouraging independence
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for residents and colleagues
- Complete incident reports and risk assessments
- Undertake and complete tasks as delegated by the Team Leader or Registered Nurse
- Deliver excellent customer service
**Skills & Requirements**:
- Qualified with a Cert III or IV in Individual Support
- Good understanding of the Aged Care Standards
- Previous Aged Care experience is desirable
- Clear verbal & written communication
- Genuine care for the elderly community
