The ideal candidate will have a minimum 3 years-experience in servicing and maintenance, along with a proven track record in fault finding and troubleshooting.Candidates with experience in servicing equipment with a client facing focus in commercial and industrial environments would be highly regarded. Further opportunities for the industry training can be provided through the business.Responsibilities For The Role IncludeProvide gas fitting and boiler/combustion services to ensure all planned and reactive maintenance, remedial work, fault diagnostics and installation works are carried out in an efficient, effective and safe manner Service and maintenance background with commercial and or industrial experienceExpedite all works in a professional and tradesman like manner to a level of quality that meets current accepted commercial/ industry standards.This role entails working unsupervised, or as part of a team, to deliver high quality and gas fitting and boiler/combustion services.As this is a service position it requires an individual with the willingness to work flexible hours and the ability to manage their own time, and the time of others, in order to meet deadlines.To be successful a candidate will require the following qualifications and experience:NZ qualification in gas fittingNZ gas registration5 years post trade experienceBoiler servicing and combustion equipment experienceValid, unrestricted NZ Drivers LicenceInstallation and maintenance of gas services, gas equipment and boilersCommercial gas installation and maintenanceElectrical registration is preferredThe Horizon Energy Group takes pride in its commitment to the health and safety of all its stakeholders.
