* A background in working with timber products, such as EWP, truss and frame, architectural timber products, or manufacturing.
* Demonstrated expertise in production management, warehousing, logistics, and distribution.

* People Management – focusing on retention, training, fostering culture, enhancing productivity, and ensuring accountability.
* Safety Metrics – working with the HSE coordinator, the 2IC will be responsible for compliance requirements, monitoring safety statistics, and ensuring adherence to reporting standards.
* Product Quality – overseeing stock management to prevent deterioration and minimize customer rejections.
* Maintenance – handling preventative maintenance and addressing defects effectively.
* Customer Service – ensuring loads are coordinated for DIFOT (Delivery in Full, On Time).
* General Housekeeping – maintaining cleanliness and organization.
* Wage and Expense Control – managing wages and expenses efficiently.
