Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Manager to oversee the customer service, despatch and administrative functions of the business. This role plays a central part in ensuring all operational, administrative and customer-facing activities are completed accurately, safely and efficiently, in alignment with company standards and objectives.
Reporting to the General Manager, the Customer Service Manager will lead a small, capable team responsible for coordinating customer orders, managing despatch operations, and maintaining financial and administrative accuracy. The role requires close collaboration with production, logistics and management teams to ensure delivery commitments are met and customer satisfaction remains consistently high.
Responsibilities
Improve operational systems and processes using Lean principles.
Support better management reporting and communication flow.
Identify opportunities for increased efficiency across customer service and despatch areas.
Take ownership of administrative and financial controls.
Oversee accounts payable, receivable activities and lead initiatives to enhance staff capability, engagement and service delivery.
Qualifications
Hands-on and organised professional with experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
Strong leadership, attention to detail and ability to deliver consistent results through team.
