The patient type admitted to this unit is neurology and general medical patients. The ward includes an Acute Stroke Unit that provides stroke telemetry monitoring for up to 8 patients. The team is supported by the Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse Educator, Neurology Clinical Nurse Consultant and Stroke Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2, as well as a highly skilled multi-disciplinary team who are passionate in managing patients with acute, chronic and complex care needs.Your New RoleThe vision for South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) is ‘exceptional care, healthier lives’.
