About the Role The Personal Assistant to the Principal provides high level administrative support to the Principal and the College, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of daily activities.
As a key member of the professional team, the role works collaboratively with the Principal, Deputy Principals, the College Leadership Team and the Administration team.
The Personal Assistant manages a range of administrative functions with efficiency, professionalism and discretion, including handling sensitive and confidential information.
The position is responsible for coordinating tasks and workflows in a timely and effective manner, supporting leadership and contributing to the overall effectiveness of College operations.
This position is highly suited to an administrative professional who is results driven, works with a high degree of flexibility and is comfortable working in a busy environment with tight timelines.
About You You will be able to demonstrate: Well developed written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Experience managing electronic document systems, with attention to version control and record keeping.
Experience in coordinating large scale events and functions.
Advanced secretarial skills including proficiency in preparing agendas, action items, taking minutes and presenting communications in an appropriate format.
Proficiency in a range of computing skills including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, email and internet.
Competent in using Microsoft Word and Excel, Adobe, Outlook.
Experience in educational data management systems is desirable.
Experience providing a high standard of administrative support in a busy environment.
Effective time management with flexibility and adaptability to maintain work output during times of pressure and tight deadlines.
Experience working within a school environment is highly desirable.
The capacity and willingness to engage with the Christian ethos of our College Qualifications and Experience Experience in a similar position will be well regarded.
Business or office management qualifications (Diploma level) will also be well regarded.
Current working with children Blue card, or able to obtain Personal Attributes Discreet.
