We are now looking for a bright, enthusiastic and dynamic graduate law clerk to join our team on a full-time basis to work from our office, currently located in Mooloolaba. This is a fast-paced role suitable for a switched-on individual eager to gain entry level experience in the legal industry, with a focus on Commercial Law.
The role will include:
* Assisting our Senior Commercial lawyers with the day-to-day conduct of matters
* Preparing advice to clients
* Conducting legal research
The ideal candidate does not necessarily need to have prior experience working in a law firm, but would:
* be available for an immediate start at the end of February
* be interested in Commercial Law
* have completed their final year of a law degree (or very near to)
* be personable and professional as they will have direct client contact at times
* have a high standard of attention-to-detail skills
* have excellent organisation and communication skills
* have a great sense of humour
* have excellent word processing skills
* have experience with Affinity or other practice management software (preferable but not a prerequisite)
