to join their high-performing finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced AP professional to step into a leadership role, manage a small team of two, and take full ownership of the accounts payable function in a business that's fast-moving, innovative, and well-respected in the property industry.
The Opportunity
This is more than your standard AP role. Our client is looking for a proactive, solutions-focused leader who knows how to run a tight AP ship while driving efficiencies and improvements. You'll be working closely with the finance leadership team and liaising across the business, so strong communication skills and confidence are key.

, as it's integral to their processes, particularly around project and construction-related payments.
Key Responsibilities
* Full ownership of the Accounts Payable function across multiple entities.
* Lead, mentor and develop a small team of two AP Assistants.
* Oversee weekly and monthly payment runs, invoice processing, and supplier reconciliations.
* Ensure compliance with internal policies, approval hierarchies and project coding.
* Manage and maintain strong vendor relationships; handle escalations and resolve discrepancies.
* Collaborate with project managers, procurement and operational teams to ensure correct allocations.
* Drive process improvements, automation initiatives and system efficiencies.
* Support the month-end close process and contribute to reporting and audit requirements.
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience in a Senior Accounts Payable or AP leadership role.
* Jobpac experience is essential however can be flexible on other similar construction led systems, Cheops or Procore.
* Background in property, construction or real estate sectors is highly advantageous.
* Confident, assertive and able to work both strategically and hands-on.
* Strong leadership and people management skills.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
* Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive in approach.
