We have a role available for a Hydraulic Technician to join our Defence division. This is a permanent full-time position, where the majority of works are to provide technical oversight and support to operations, primarily for hydraulic assets and systems, so you will have stable working hours, and a work-life balance.
We are open to varying levels of experience, and open to speaking with interstate candidates if you might be interested in a move to the NT.
About the role
You will oversee and manage all hydraulic services across multiple defence bases in the Northern Territory (car provided).
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Coordinating with various stakeholders to maintain alignment with overall project goals.
* Conducting regular inspections and audits of hydraulic systems and processes.
* Maintaining and communicating Water Quality Management (WQM) and Waste Water Management (WWM) plans.
* Maintaining and reviewing Service Definition Tables (SDT) for hydraulic services.
* Ensuring compliance with Waste Water Operating Authority requirements.
* Assisting Operations with documents as required for regulatory compliance and project management.
* Providing technical support and guidance to the Operations team.
About you
* Experience working in/with Hydraulic Assets and Infrastructure.
* Tertiary qualifications in Hydraulic Engineering or a related trades field is desirable.
* Professional Engineer (PE) certification or equivalent is desirable.
* Relevant certifications in Water Quality Management (WQM) and Waste Water Management (WWM).
* Demonstrated stakeholder engagement abilities and complex project management experience.
* Valid driver's licence.
You must be an Australian Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance.
