Your New Role!
As a Software Developer at Murdoch University you'll play a key role in designing, developing and implementing high‐quality solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform Suite including Power Apps, Power Automate and Copilot Studio. Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders you'll lead the delivery of impactful Power Platform projects that drive business success. You'll be part of a collaborative Agile team that offers diverse work, a supportive culture and plenty of opportunities for career growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business requirements and build scalable, user‐friendly applications and workflows within the Power Platform.
* Develop and customize Power Apps to create intuitive and responsive user interfaces.
* Build and optimize Power Automate workflows to automate business processes and improve efficiency.
* Integrate Power Apps and Power Automate with external systems and data sources using connectors and APIs.
* Conduct testing and debugging of Power Platform solutions to ensure quality and reliability.
* Assist in data modelling and database design within the Power Platform environment.
* Contribute to the identification, development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives and the adoption of new technologies and methodologies.
What You'll Bring
* Postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
* Knowledge of data modelling, database design and data manipulation.
* Experience in gathering requirements, designing, deploying, implementing, testing and supporting IT systems.
* Experience in delivering services within an enterprise environment adhering to IT service management practices (ITIL).
* Ability to problem‐solve and apply analytical thinking with troubleshooting and diagnostic skills to identify and resolve administrative and technical issues.
* Excellent listening, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills with demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with key stakeholders.
What We Offer
This full‐time position (37.5 hours per week) offers a remuneration of $99,697 – $109,844 (pro rata) plus 17% employer superannuation contributions.
