Senior Account Executive Job
We are seeking an experienced and ambitious sales professional to join our team as a Senior Account Executive in the New Zealand and Pacific Islands region. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for acquiring new business opportunities, achieving sales targets, and implementing effective sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive the sales cycle from initial contact to signing of the deal and maintain good client relationships.
* Negotiate or assist in negotiations depending on the deal size on terms and conditions of the sales and service agreements.
* Establish relationships with primary alliance partners and identify new market and growth opportunities to build a strong sales pipeline.
* Provide leadership in client relationship management and address clients' business needs and constraints.
Requirements:
* 8 years or more of a proven track record of new sales and achievement of sales targets in the banking and financial sectors and substantial relevant experience within the same domain.
* Ability to deal with people at all levels within an organization and show and demonstrate negotiating skills with key decision-makers.
* Ability to navigate long and complex sales cycles across banks and financial institutions with strong skills in building new relationships, mapping organisation structures, and progressing sales opportunities.
* Good understanding of banking operations and relevant processes front middle back-office thorough understanding of IT processes and implementations.
* Preferably a university education in relevant business disciplines preferably with a post-graduate degree.
* Effective communication presentation and interpersonal skills international exposure and ability to be deployed across the territory.
* Experience in use of sales planning & forecasting tools such as Salesforce Clari etc would be appreciated.
* Ability to spot opportunities and diligently manage customer engagements from inception to close.
* Entrepreneurial spirit can-do attitude and tenacious deal-maker and closer.
* Ability to navigate change and deal with ambiguity.
