Lifestyle Support Assistant / Personal Care Worker

Delivering exceptional care and support to individuals in their own homes is a rewarding experience that requires a unique blend of skills and qualities.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Lifestyle Support Assistant. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients by providing personal care, domestic assistance, social support, and transportation services.

About the Role:

* Personal Care: You will provide showering, dressing, medication, and continence care to our clients, ensuring their dignity and well-being at all times.
* Domestic Assistance: Your tasks may include meal preparation, laundry, light household cleaning, and other domestic duties to maintain a safe and healthy living environment.
* Social Support/Transportation: You will accompany clients to medical appointments, community events, and other activities, providing companionship and emotional support when needed.
* Assisting with Aids: You will assist clients with the use of aids such as frames, wheelchairs, hoists, slide sheets, hearing aids, and other equipment to maintain their independence.
* Monitoring Wellbeing: You will closely monitor the overall wellbeing of clients, recognizing and reporting any changes or concerns to ensure prompt action is taken.

Requirements:

* A passion for caring and supporting people to live their best lives.
* A respectful and polite demeanor, upholding professional boundaries while being friendly and approachable.
* A current driver's license and insured vehicle, as travel is an essential part of the role.
* A Certificate III in Aged, Community, or Disability (or willingness to obtain) and relevant qualifications.
* Covid-19 vaccination and NDIS Worker Screening/Yellow Card (or National Police Check and willingness to obtain).
* First Aid & CPR Certificate and NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate of Completion.
