Your new role
As the Practice Nurse Manager, you'll take ownership of the day‑to‑day clinical operations, leading a team of RNs, ENs and assistants within a busy treatment room environment. You will play a key role in driving excellence in patient care, ensuring the smooth running of clinical activities, and coaching your team to deliver best‑practice nursing standards.
You'll also work closely with centre leadership to understand financial levers, contribute to strategic decision‑making and support continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, coach and mentor a multidisciplinary nursing team
* Oversee clinical procedures and ensure alignment with policies, guidelines and standing orders
* Manage performance, training, and professional development of staff
* Maintain treatment room operations, equipment and supplies
* Support recruitment, roster planning and workforce allocation
* Assist with chronic disease management, health assessments and nurse‑led clinics
* Participate in centre accreditation and quality initiatives
* Build strong relationships with GPs, allied health and community partners
What you'll need to succeed
* Registered Nurse (AHPRA)
* 2+ years' experience in direct clinical nursing
* Leadership or supervisory experience
* Strong communicator with excellent organisational capability
* Sound clinical knowledge and a passion for mentoring others
* Experience in primary care or chronic disease management (highly desirable)

* Competitive hourly rate: $40-$47 + Superannuation
