Project Coordinator - Infrastructure Expert
This role is responsible for interacting directly with customers and internal stakeholders to determine customer needs and ensure the accurate supply of reinforcing steel to each major project.
As a key member of the team, you will be working closely with customers, production, and planning teams to identify areas of development and improvement to processes.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Ensuring that daily plans are adhered to and delivered on time and in full first time, every time
* Reading and understanding engineering drawings to create steel cutting lists for production
* Understanding customer needs, and solving customer's challenges and issues onsite
* Working with customers, production, and planning teams, clients, and builders
* Pre-fabrication detailing of reinforcing elements in concrete (2D and or 3D)
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a Scheduling role would be considered favourably
* Experience in Project Coordination within the construction industry
* Experience in steel reinforcement detailing, advantageous
* A technical mindset with an ability to read and understand technical drawings
* The ability to prioritise customer orders
* Be a productive and efficient team player
* Diploma or Degree in civil or structural engineering, or qualifications in design/drafting or building and construction management.
* Experience in modeling software such as AutoCAD/Revit
* Understanding of manufacturing systems and processes
