About the Role
This role is responsible for coordinating day-to-day production planning in collaboration with the Production and Planning teams, maintaining effective client communication on upcoming jobs, and managing the procurement of components to meet customer orders.
About You
* A proactive, independent, and practical problem-solver.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
* Experience in the FMCG or packaging industry will be considered highly beneficial.
* SAP experience will be regarded as an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and manage daily production schedules in consultation with the Planning and Production teams.
* Liaise with clients to plan and forecast upcoming jobs, ensuring deadlines are met.
* Monitor and verify incoming stock levels to confirm availability for customer orders.
* Procure components as required, using the Qlik MRP system.
* Utilise the SAP system to create sales orders, production orders, and manage invoicing.
* Review job performance and provide updates to the Director/Head of Department regarding profitability.
* Act as the first point of contact for customer complaints, ensuring timely resolution.
* Coordinate freight bookings and dispatch requirements where necessary.
* Issue invoices upon completion of jobs.
