AAT Kings is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee our Yulara depot and ensure our guests experience the very best of the Red Centre.
About the Role Based in Yulara, Northern Territory, you'll take charge of our Central Australian operations, ensuring every aspect of our service meets the high standards AAT Kings is known for.
As the Operations Manager, you'll work closely with the NT General Manager to lead your team, manage budgets, and drive operational excellence in one of the world's most iconic destinations.
Key Responsibilities Team Leadership: Manage and inspire the Darwin operations team, creating a collaborative and high-performing environment. Staff Management: Oversee recruitment, training, performance reviews, and team meetings. Scheduling: Develop rosters in line with fatigue management guidelines. Operational Oversight: Manage depot operations, fleet utilisation, and ensure thorough record-keeping and reporting. Incident Management: Address breakdowns, guest concerns, and other incidents with professionalism and care. Compliance: Uphold occupational health and safety standards for vehicles and equipment, adhering to legislative requirements. Financial Management: Drive budgetary success through careful planning, payroll oversight, and reporting. What You'll Bring Proven management experience in fast-paced environments. Expertise in vehicle coordination and maintenance. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to run meetings, training sessions, and presentations. Experience in logistics or tourism (preferred). Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operational systems. Essential Licenses/Certifications :HR Driver's License and Passenger Authority (or willingness to obtain) Senior First Aid Certificate (minimum) What's in It for You?
