Job Description:
As a Deputy Manager – Occupational Therapy (Acute), you play a key leadership role in shaping service delivery and supporting staff development. This position is responsible for the management and development of over 30 staff working within the Occupational Therapy Acute Team, across Medical and Cancer Services, Surgical Services and Women's and Children's Services.
Your leadership is essential for maintaining excellence in patient outcomes and aligning services with the Department's CARE values—Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence.
You will work closely with the Occupational Therapy leadership team and multi-disciplinary leads to the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based services. You will also represent occupational therapy in the wider health care setting and deputise for the Head of Department when required.
