We are looking for energetic Youth Soccer Coaches in the South Nashville area!
You will lead engaging and interactive pre-soccer classes for toddlers to preteens. This program focuses on introducing balance, coordination, cognitive skills, and more through music and movement.
Our ideal candidate is passionate about working with young children and has prior experience as a sports coach, teacher, camp leader, or in a similar role. This position is perfect for individuals interested in early childhood education or child development.
Responsibilities
1. Create and implement lesson plans based on the company's existing curriculum
2. Teach soccer skills, physical literacy, and life skills to small groups of children
3. Maintain a positive, fun, and safe learning environment for all participants
4. Communicate effectively with parents, providing progress reports and addressing any concerns or questions
5. Model and promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect for self and others
6. Participate in ongoing training and development to improve coaching skills and knowledge of the company's curriculum
7. Assist with setup and cleanup of equipment and supplies for classes and events
Qualifications
1. Prior experience working with children/toddlers/infants
2. Passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
4. High level of energy, enthusiasm, and patience
5. Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends
6. Must have reliable transportation
7. Must be able to pass all company, state and federally mandated background checks
