Qualified Home Care Worker
in Ballarat.
This role offers meaningful work and the opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of older people by delivering care with empathy, respect, and a strong person-centred approach.
What We're Looking For
The Home Care Worker role requires a qualification such as a
Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (or an equivalent qualification)
. This role plays an important part in helping older people remain safe, supported, and independent in their own homes, while monitoring client wellbeing and promptly reporting any concerns.
This varied role involves supporting clients with both personal care and household tasks to help them live safely and confidently at home.
Travelling between clients' homes, you may provide assistance such as:
Personal care, including showering, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
Domestic duties, including vacuuming, mopping, laundry, and tidying, as well as cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, and shared living areas
Providing social support or transport to appointments, community activities, or assisting with other household duties
Mandatory Requirements
A nationally recognised Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (or equivalent qualification, including nursing students)
A valid Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable, roadworthy vehicle with insurance
Current First Aid and CPR certifications
A Working with Children Check (Employee)
A National Police Check
Up-to-date vaccinations in accordance with Uniting AgeWell's organisational policy
