Onsite we are lucky to have partnered with Autism Qld and have opportunities to develop your aptitude in the field of autism-specific early intervention. You will be working closely with allied health professionals to enhance the independence and quality of life in young children with additional support needs.

Skills & Experience
* Tertiary qualifications in Education and/or Special Education
* NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (not essential)
* WWCC Blue Card
* Demonstrated ability to work under direction and as a member of a multidisciplinary team
* Ability to communicate effectively with young children and other relevant stakeholders
* Proven effectiveness in supporting children with special needs, ideally including autism
* Experience with therapy and/or educational and play-based programs which may include self-care, toileting, feeding and social skills
* Demonstrated literacy, written communication and computer skills as required for data-collection, reporting and documentation
* Must have experience working as an early childhood educator supporting children with additional needs and behavioural challenges
* Providing quality programs & strategies for children on the autism spectrum which address both their educational & developmental needs
* Physically interact with children throughout the duration of the program, in addition to setting up and packing up the environment.
Highly Regarded
Post-graduate qualifications in Special Education delivering support to the early childhood teachers and therapists in the design, preparation, and implementation of individual programs for each child.
