About Our Client
Our client is currently seeking Leading Hands and Foremans to join their Urban Development Division for a large subdivision project in South Maclean.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Leading Hand you will be required to work Monday to Friday, 9-10-hour shifts. You will be responsible for the following;
* Direct and supervise the day to day work operations and direct crews
* Ensure high standards for quality and safety maintained
* Allocating general and daily responsibilities
* Ensure professional standards and company objectives are maintained in relation to company reputations, service quality, OH&S and environmental standards.
Requirements/Experience
* Prior experience within the civil construction industry, ideally working across subdivision projects or similar (Urban construction)
* Good understanding and experience with curb, channel, drainage and road experience (highly desirable)
* The ability to read and interpret plans
* Strong safety knowledge and initiative
* Good leadership skills good leader and team player
* Be reliable and trustworthy with the ability to work with little supervision and be able to work as part of a team
* Have excellent communication skills
* Current drivers license and Construction White Card
