About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and reliable law student currently undertaking their PLT to join our legal practice for an internship placement. You will gain exposure to real client matters under the supervision of experienced solicitors, contributing meaningfully to a wide range of legal tasks across family, commercial, and property law.
Responsibilities
- Legal research and drafting of correspondence, court documents, and contracts
- File management, legal admin, and document preparation
- Attending client meetings and court (as an observer)
- Assisting with litigation preparation and discovery
- Supporting solicitors with day-to-day casework
Requirements
- Currently completing a PLT program with an Australian university or provider
- Solid legal research and writing skills
- Excellent time management and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and take initiative
- Availability for at least 3 days per week, flexible around coursework
