HOBAN Recruitment is recruiting for an APS5 level Tender and Seller Management Officer on behalf of our client, a key Federal Government agency shaping Australia's digital transformation agenda, located ion Canberra ACT.
This role sits within a collaborative sourcing team responsible for managing end-to-end tendering, panel refreshes, and seller lifecycle activities across multiple marketplaces supporting thousands of suppliers.

About the Role
In this position, you will support the effective management of tendering processes, marketplace refresh cycles and supplier performance activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing end-to-end Request for Tender (RFT) processes and panel refreshes in line with legislative and procurement requirements.
* Liaising with stakeholders to develop tender documentation and coordinate timelines, deliverables and probity requirements.
* Reviewing and evaluating tender submissions, including compliance checks, technical assessments and scoring against evaluation criteria.
* Conducting verification checks such as financial viability, insurance compliance, and Foreign Ownership, Control or Influence (FOCI) assessments.
* Finalising contract documentation, including enrolment letters and Head Agreements.
* Monitoring and reporting on marketplace or panel status, identifying risks and recommending corrective actions.
* Reviewing seller profiles and applying the Seller Performance Management Framework to uplift supplier performance.
* Contributing to process improvements, continuous improvement activities and the establishment of new marketplaces or panels.

About You

You bring :
* Knowledge of the Commonwealth Procurement Framework, including CPRs and the PGPA Act.
* Experience in tender evaluation, compliance reviews or panel refresh processes.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills with a high level of attention to detail.
* Confidence using systems such as SharePoint, MS Word and Excel.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship‑building skills.
* Strong organisational and time-management abilities, with resilience to manage competing priorities.
* Sound judgement, analytical thinking and the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity.
* Baseline security clearance (Australian citizenship is required).
