About the Role
Home Hill State School is seeking a dedicated and innovative leader to drive curriculum leadership and lead whole-school planning. This role offers flexibility in terms of working hours, with the option to work 0.20 FTE per fortnight.
The successful candidate will have strong organisational skills, a deep understanding of the Prep to Year 6 curriculum, and a proven track record of enhancing teaching quality and improving student outcomes.
* Drive curriculum leadership and develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
* Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
* Set high standards for student and staff performance.
* Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
* Form partnerships with students, parents, other government agencies, and community groups.

About Home Hill State School
Home Hill State School is a Band 7 school with ten classes from Prep to Year 6 in the North Queensland Region. It is located approximately one-hundred kilometres north of Bowen and south of Townsville. The Bruce Highway passes through the township of Home Hill.
The district is made up of neighbouring townships of Ayr, Home Hill and other smaller centres. Home Hill is situated on the southern side of the Burdekin River and a short ten minute drive north across the Burdekin Bridge to its 'twin town' of Ayr.
