About Chemtrans:
Chemtrans is a division of K&S Freighters and is a well-respected industry leader in the safe and efficient transportation and delivery of dangerous and hazardous goods and chemicals throughout Australia.
About the role:
We currently have a driving position available on Day shift for safety conscious, professional drivers to complete local and country deliveries in our well-maintained automatics based out of our Enfield branch.
The applicants must be open to all types of work. Use of different equipment, forklifts, side loader trailers, flat top trailers, road tankers, drop decks / Iso containers, rail and wharf work for import and export, HC and BDBL.
You will be provided with comprehensive and competency-based training program spanning 4 plus weeks where you will be trained to safely perform a range of tasks including not limited to, load and unload various liquid products DG and non-DG products, delivering to customer sites
Great scope of weekend work with plenty of hours (50+ hours each week).
Success Profile:
* HC license with proven extensive driving experience of at least 12 months.
* A safe driver history report.
* Current Australian Dangerous Goods license is a MUST or intention to obtain prior to commencement.
* Ability to learn and be trained in loading and unloading chemical products.
