Job description
An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Full Time Chef at this independently owned property.
The key responsibilities of this position include:
* Preparing, cooking and serving high quality meals
* The effective and efficient operation of the kitchen
* Managing kitchen equipment
* Receiving and examining supplies to ensure quality and quantity meet venue and food safety standards
* Abiding by food safety regulations
* Ensuring cleanliness in all areas of the kitchen
To be successful in this role, you will:
* Have previous experience in a similar role
* Work well in a team structure
* Have the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
* Completed FOODSAFE Supervisors Certificate
* Unrestricted Approved Managers Card
We are searching for an individual with excellent time management and communication skills, and most importantly, a commitment to excellence in product and service.
38 hours per week
