Job Overview
The role of Technical Support Officer involves providing IT infrastructure support across the organisation. Key responsibilities include deploying and supporting hardware, system imaging, configuration and user support within a Microsoft environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deploy operating system images to new or replacement workstations using MECM
* Coordinate with end users to schedule hardware deployments and communicate progress
* Install and configure laptops, desktops and monitors; decommission legacy equipment
* Manage Active Directory groups for application access and user control
* Perform network port patching and work with Cisco switches during deployments
* Manage software deployment tools (e.g., Microsoft MECM)
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar or relevant IT support role
* Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Windows Domain environments, cloud services, workstation management and security management tools
* Advanced scripting for OS deployment, automation and app modification
About this Role
This full-time position offers 36.25 hours per week at an hourly rate. The contract is based until June 2026.
